Are you marketing to me? In a report by the Census Bureau release in July of 2004 it showed that there were over 95.7 million unmarried and single Americans. Over 53% of them were women. Despite the rapid pace that this market continues to grow it is one of the most ignored in our marketing efforts.
Being single and living alone I know that I shop differently, I look for marketing messages that appeal to me. Is the assembly easy? Are the portions meant for one person? Does the politician care about my needs as a single woman?
