Marketing a Service: Learn to Do It Effectively

Marketing a service is different than marketing a product. There are certain things you need to consider and different steps you need to take in order to help the consumer feel comfortable. Learn what you what you need to do differently in order to market your service effectively.

I think the three additional P’s are great items. I own a marketing and design firm, and although we have tried to “productize” some of our services, we are still selling services.

We have to sell to customers based on our people and what we can show as results in the past.

Selling services usually comes down to the sales person. Ultimately, there is no real thing for a customer to touch or evaluate, so they must rely on the sales person.
