I was an early adopter of internet marketing, starting back in 1997. I saw the power that the Internet carried that no other marketing vehicle or medium did. Where else could you start a marketing campaign, test it and change it all in the same day?

I'm still surprised by how many businesses have not adopted internet marketing fully. Perhaps they've dabbled here and there, but they've not embraced the full power that the internet carries. Let's think about it. The internet allows you to not only modify a campaign but really target your ideal customer or client.

An example of targeting would be Facebook, while they've not really proven that the advertisements work on Facebook when it comes to conversion they have proven that you can in fact target your marketing message to ideal prospects. If the user is single, they are faced with a dating ad. If they are engaged they are targeted with weight-loss advertisements. If they are married they are targeted with family vacations or perhaps even family counseling.

If you've not yet embraced internet marketing in your business, there is no better time than now. Internet marketing is a cost effective and efficient marketing method that is viable in a down economy. Take a few moments and let me walk you through the why's and how's of internet marketing.

The click costs in Facebook are significantly lower than AdWords. However the reach in Google is significantly higher. Hopefully one day Google will offer the type of targeted advertising Facebook offers today.

Agree with you Anne on cost, however if we are paying a per-click cost you want the conversion factor to be there :) I’d love to hear from those that are seeing conversion on Facebook.

Thanks for the post!

I am completely satisfied with your concept. Every webmaster must have a knowledge of internet marketing. If you do not have that aspect in your mind then there is no one to see your website.
