I’m currently working on developing a direct mail piece for our Bath and Kitchen Showroom. This article has helped remind me that this is exactly what I need to do when creating this piece. We have a competitor that has just opened up a new store. Our Showroom offers alot more in specialized services and product knowledge, as opposed to this new store that wreaks of Home Depot. I could use some help/advice in building my piece. Thank you, CM
Cindy, what call of action are you using on your direct mail piece? Are you offering a discount? Are you offering free coffee and donuts when they visit the store? How are you enticing them to contact you?

I need help as block maker what do you mean by call to action
Retooling our web site – suggestions on CTA needed…
We market primarily to attorneys and IT folks in law firms looking for trial consulting and database management.
Your thoughts are appreciated!
I would love to get some feedback on my landing page and call to action.
Thanks!
I work at a market research company. We are re-doing our website and really have no usable marketing tools. The call to action that we have right now is Guiding you to Informed Decisions. What do you think about it?
I would love feedback on my call to action as well.
Thanks!
I’m insurance agent specialising in sell of general insurance products. Advice on call to action and how it will increase market penetration.
Eric, something that has worked well for some insurance agents in our area (La Crosse, WI); some agents have advertised to call for a quote and I’ll donate $10 to your local favorite local high school. Another agent said call for a quote and I’ll buy a couple boxes of girl scout cookies or boy scout popcorn. This also makes you stand out as a community hero.
@ Cindy Martin, could you offer an upgrade for free? Perhaps soft close hinges or an upgrade on hardware (knobs, etc)? I work with a local carpet store he advertises one room of carpet installed for $699. It’s up to 120 sq. ft. but it gives customers an idea of the cost and has made his phone ring and get’s him into the home! Maybe you could do new cabinets, countertops and backsplash for a set price…of course you’d have to work the numbers.
Most recently, i rolled out marketing plan that involves developing corporate schemes for organisation under the guise ‘privately owned vehicles’-targeting staffs with cars so as to enjoy lower premium rates. Please advise on how well i could do in terms of service differentiation since the market is too competitive.
