I recently had the opportunity to visit a luxury resort in Cancun, Mexico and be introduced to a new branding campaign being launched by the Villa Group resorts. The branding campaign was interesting and intriguing, themed around the statement "Your Story Starts Here." They would introduce the branding campaign and follow through with a complete marketing campaign to create consumer awareness. The marketing campaign would consists electronic newsletters and a social media marketing campaign that included a sweepstakes and opportunity to win an all inclusive getaway to one of the Villa del Palmar resorts.
Before the trip I received press information and was interested to hear about about their brand campaign, but I was more interested to see how they would implement this campaign and follow through with their guests.
