I have seen numerous people promoting better than free marketing, i.e. marketing that actually pays you! Something that seems like a fantastic idea considering the “so called” recession. What ideas as a small business or solo entreprenuer can one implement in that context?

Hi Laura

Thanks very much for your post,I hope people take note of your points and read that research article you mentioned too.

Brendan, you raised a really good question about what ideas we can implement to ‘get paid for our marketing’. In fact, it’s not just marketing, its any business expense.

I wrote an article on this idea not so long ago because I wanted to give people a few leaders as to how they can implement this powerful idea. You can read the article here:

How to Never Run Out of Money Again

I hope that helps.

All the best,
Deb

The whole world’s economy is hit by recession, especially BPO companies in India! Let me know how these companies are geared up to face this challenge and the marketing strategies used to overcome this situation. Are they cutting marketing budgets or they’re just happy cutting down the salaries, benefits etc. of its employees without bringing down the marketing budget levels?
