Five Twitter Time-Saving Tools I Use

Thursday June 18, 2009
Stop making excuses on why you don't use Twitter. The most common mistake that I hear is that there just isn't enough time in the day to be on Twitter. I understand, but running two businesses not to mention the time I spend writing, I've found tools that help me use Twitter without taking up my entire day.

I'm going to share with you my selection of five time-saving tools that not only do I recommend but I use myself. I will show you how you can in fact use Twitter as one of your social media marketing tools without taking a large amount of time out of your days to be successful.

I will tell you there are hundreds of tools out there that you can use with Twitter, but these are the five tools that I personally use and feel help in my productivity with Twitter, with that being said feel free to share your favorite tools in the comment section. All you have to do to participate is just list the tool, what it does, why you love it and where we can find it.

Let's tweet, shall we. Come follow me by visiting my Twitter profile.

I agree Twitter can be a great tool for some people or businesses and that there are ways to use it quickly.

However I think every business needs to think about priorities before jumping into the latest thing. Like you I run more than one business (and work in several countries) and I have made a conscious decision not to use Twitter as I would rather use my time getting people to follow my newsletter, newspaper columns and radio interviews rather than a Tweet.

I’m not saying twitter is bad .. I know it can be great .. just that we all have limited time and have to choose the marketing tools that give us, as individuals, the best return on our time investment.

I just started a Twitter account due to your article. We’ll see how useful it could be to spread the word and use it at a marketing tool too. Like Stefan, I’m currently immersed in a business.

I’m building a new customer base here in Europe. After a decade of living in the US, it’s difficult to break into well established bases here in the EU and to cope with all the different rules I never had in the States.

Marketing Mix, Email, Fliers and references by word of mouth are time consuming by itself.

Anyway, I’ll give it a try. BTW, what are the 5 Twitter tools you mentioned in your newsletter and promised to reveal. After the first link in your email there is no further lead.
