Great news, well if you like moving to new social media territory anyway!
Today Google announced that they have opened Google Plus to Google Apps customers. The Google Apps version has the same features as the current public version for individuals.
The "plus" side of using it with Google Apps is that it will automatically be in their own circle. If you want to move your personal Google Plus account over to your Google Apps account you will be able to. Google is currently working on building a tool that will help you migrate your circles and buddies over.
While this isn't necessarily the business application we've been looking for with Google Plus, it is a step forward.
