Writer's Guidelines
Topics: We are currently looking for articles that pertain to the topics in the table on the right hand side of this screen. The level of the Marketing viewers range anywhere from small business marketing to corporate sectors interested in analytics and current market trends.
Format: Pieces published are generally under 2,000 words in length. They are formatted with the best online features including many sub-headings and lists of relevant tips. Supporting material and links to Web sites that expand the topic are welcome. Articles focus on "what you need to know" content.
Editing: The Marketing Guide reserves the right to edit your submission for clarity, style, and format. You will not have final review rights before your article is published. If you read through the site, you will find that all authors have been well-served in this editing process.
Payment: About Marketing is not a paying market. In writing an article for About Marketing, your blog or personal website will receive an increase in the number of visitors. Think of it as a free form of advertising and exposure. All authors receive a brief biographical sketch that includes links to your Web site and your email. This is published with your article.
Author
Rights: If you are submitting a potential feature article, we request
exclusive worldwide electronic rights to publish the article at the About Marketing
site for thirty days. About.com and Laura Schneider, Marketing Guide, retain

If you have written an article that you feel is perfect for the site and it
